I was a dancer in the mid '70s-'80s with the Butler Academy in Toronto, Canada. Things have certainly changed a lot since those days!
I remember my mother doing my hair in "rags" the night before a feis, and traveling on the bus with what looked like severed, bandaged fingers sticking out of my head!
I wish there was a dance school near me now that I have a young daughter, but we live in the country. I'm teaching her myself at this point.
