Why God invented Photoshop…

How often have you taken that perfect, Pulitzer Prize winning photograph, only to find on closer inspection that there was a slight flaw in your work of art?

That’s why God invented Photoshop.

I can’t begin to tell you the number of times I’ve “corrected a minor facial imperfection” through the magic of Photoshop.

My daughter refers to it as “digital zit popping”.

But I digress…

Last year my daughter severely sprained her ankle while dancing and was sidelined for several weeks recovering. Because she was your typical dyed-in-the-wool Irish Dance fanatic, she still attended all her dance company shows as a forlorn cheerleader.

Somehow I was only able to take one, and only one, picture of her in her foot brace and crutches during that period.

It is with great delight that I share that photo with you now...

But to be truthful, I must admit there was a minor flaw in the original photo that ever so slightly detracted from the final composition that you view here.

Not a facial imperfection...

Not a color correction...

I didn't even need to use the "redeye removal tool".
